DORSI TECHNOLOGY ™

DORSI Technology™ is a unique technological platform incorporating the biomechanical principles of dorsiflexion leading to:

Dorsiflexion Construction

Dorsiflexion position changes the posterior muscle chain orientation which places the muscles in a favorable position to develop greater force. The muscular contraction mechanisms are in an optimal condition. Moreover, the dorsiflexion position allows for the stretching of the muscles which increases reactivity and explosive power. This position also naturally improves posture by placing the pelvic bone in a neutral position and correctly aligning the ankle, knee, hip and shoulder joints.


Training is more efficient in a dorsiflexion shoe because:

 
User is placed in a pre-stretch position which results in plyometric work - a type of training commonly recognized to increase performance
The posterior muscular chain works at an increased length resulting in a better conditioned muscular chain
The body is naturally positioned correctly to execute exercises in an optimal manner
Increased range of motion of the foot resulting in a more powerful stride
 




Energy Plate™

The Energy Plate™ is a piece of TPU with an ergonomic design placed under the metatarsals to increase and facilitate the roll of the foot, providing greater range of motion and optimizing the push-off phase. This is specifically tailored to each sport discipline.

The Energy Plate™ reduces the metatarsal-phalangal flexion which decreases the energy loss during the stance phase. Consequently, the Energy Plate provides for less energy consumption for equal movement.

 

U-Control Insole System ™

Scientific studies have shown that muscle fiber recruitment changes with different degrees of dorsiflexion. We have developed the U-Control Insole System™ - an interchangeable set of insoles that empowers the user to adapt the degree of dorsiflexion to:

 
Their anatomic characteristics (flexibility of their joints)
Their physical condition
The intensity of training desired to reach objectives faster
 


Recommendations for use:
Users should begin working out with DORSI 0 or DORSI 1 and then, once adjusted, gradually move to higher degrees of dorsiflexion. DORSI 4 and 5 should only be used for occasional training once used to lower degrees of dorsiflexion.
