| Strength is developed by increasing your flexibility, range of motion, and core strength. Push-ups, sit-ups, lunges and jumping drills will build the strength you need. SpringBoost footwear has shown to recruit more muscle fibers in the legs and glutes and to activate muscles of the core. |

Explosiveness is achieved mostly through sprint work and plyometrics. To be more explosive you want to increase leg strength, endurance and foot speed.

Why is your training more efficient with SpringBoost B-Train?
- Placed at a dorsiflexion angle, your muscles perform increased eccentric movements leading to an enhanced plyometric work – a more efficient training.
- Your posterior muscle chain works at an increased length resulting in a better conditioned muscular chain.
- The posterior muscle chain orientation is changed. It places the muscles in a favorable position to develop greater force.
- The posterior muscle chain is pre-stretched: reactivity and explosive power are increased.
- Posture is naturally improved: the pelvic bone is in a neutral position and the ankle, knee, hip and shoulder joints are correctly aligned. Your body is thus naturally positioned correctly to execute exercises in an optimal manner
- The increased range of motion of the foot results in a longer and more explosive stride
How to use SpringBoost B-Train to get the most of your training
Training is all about varying the intensity and surprising your muscles!
With the U-CONTROL INSOLE SYSTEM™, a set of three interchangeable insoles provided with SpringBoost B-Train, you have a tool to vary the level of intensity for a more qualitative and flexible training.
1° dorsiflexion: your starting point. Slowly get used to dorsiflexion. It is a position that your body needs to get accustomed to. Use it the first few weeks* of training and once you are comfortable, you may use the other insoles as suggested in the training program below. Use this insole for all endurance and sprint work.
3° dorsiflexion: take your training intensity a notch higher. You may feel soreness in your muscles and joints. It’s because you are working out more specific muscle fibers and in an amplitude that you have never experienced before. If you feel it is too much however, go back to 1° dorsiflexion.
5° dorsiflexion: for maximum intensity. To be used once you have been using 1° dorsiflexion and 3° dorsiflexion for several weeks and feel completely comfortable with them. We recommend that you use this insole for strength training. See how it feels. If it feels like it is too much, go back to 1° dorsiflexion or 3° dorsiflexion.
