1. Who is behind SpringBoost?
SpringBoost is a private Swiss company owned by private and institutional investors and industrial strategic partners - all sharing the same vision of building a global brand based on a new generation of athletic footwear.

2. Why are you based in Switzerland?
Our technology and products were born in the cradle of the famous Polytechnic School of Lausanne, one of the world’s most advanced innovative technology centres. We also worked closely with leading sports and scientific institutions, located near Lausanne University and the International Olympic Committee.

3. Why SpringBoost?
- SPRING - a symbol of drive and hope - represents the importance of innovation to the company, giving you that all-important lift to take great leaps forward!
- Boost is a dynamic word that means exactly what our footwear does: ENHANCE PERFORMANCE by optimising the body’s muscle power to make you stronger and faster.

4. Why do you think you are going to succeed?
- Because we have a unique technology that gives consumers real benefits when practising their sports.
- Because no other shoe on the market provides real improvements in training and performance. No significant technological innovation has directly improved performance since the invention of spikes and rubber outsoles.

5. Where are your shoes manufactured?
Our shoes are manufactured in a shoe factory in Southern China, using the most advanced equipment and technology available. As our products are unique and some components have never been manufactured before, we have worked with the factory to develop a special shoe manufacturing process and moulds for total quality and safety.

6. What do you do to prevent child labour?
We make sure, contractually and by every other means possible, that our suppliers respect human rights and do not employ children.
We are members of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) and, as such, we adhere to their rules. Problems don’t generally originate with the factory, but with the subcontractors. We visit them as often as possible to check on observance of human rights.

7. How do you control your product quality?
We work with a cutting-edge plant in Asia with over 35 years of industrial leadership in manufacturing athletic footwear for major brands, with full horizontal integration from cad-cam design through mould making to raw materials development with leading global suppliers such as Huntsman and Bayer.

We work only with SATRA-accredited members. SATRA is the world’s leading research and technology organisation for footwear manufacturing. It helps factories gain ISO certification and meet the highest international footwear production standards. It provides training and certification to member manufacturers worldwide in the use of raw materials, setting up industrial procedures, and ethical, health and safety measures.
We have also established pre- and post-production quality control guidelines and inspection procedures to ensure that all SpringBoost products meet a very high standard.
